Mona Hecke Story

Mona Hecke is a degree qualified Naturopath, nutrition specialist and health and wellness writer.

With over 20 years in the health industry, beginning with a focus on children and families, and a bestselling book ‘The Lunchbox Revolution’, Mona is now empowering women through education and conversation to take action and embrace change.  Gut health, mindfulness, nutrition, hormones, and menopause are the topics that women want and need to know to create their healthy future.

Naturopathic principles are defined by treating the ‘whole person’ using the healing power of nature to identify and treat the underlying cause rather than just symptomatic relief.  Mona believes naturopathy has the power to change people health destiny. ‘I’m just here to hold your hand and guide you through what can sometimes seem overwhelming, but when we treat the mind, body and spirit together, results can be profound and life changing’.

Mona holds certifications in Lifestyle Coaching, Kinesiology, holistic herbal medicine, and nutrition.

A recognised leader in the health industry, Mona’s strong social media presence and passion for influencing change will continue to be a catalyst for health reform for the benefit of every Australian. From community workshops to keynote addresses and corporate team building, Mona is dedicated to inspiring everyone to rise to their full health potential and leave a legacy of abundant health for generations to come.

Mona has a marketing background in Public Relations and continues to be a public voice for change in her local community by motivating governments to build healthier communities and resilient cities.  She has been an Australia Day Ambassador in rural Queensland for many years, exchanging stories with local Councils, education stakeholders and active community alliances.

20 years of experience in Naturopathy has taught Mona that anything is possible, that it doesn’t matter where you begin, you can heal and you can live a long, healthy life, pain-free with vitality and joy.

Mona lives on the Gold Coast and enjoys the lifestyle, fresh produce, and wonderful climate that it provides.  She enjoys travelling with her adult children and exploring new places through food, culture and the stories that people share.
